Jester Sangiovese Rosé - 2021

93 POINTS
In 2021 the Mitolo Jester Rosé is on the money and beautifully pitched for early drinking, packing not only good complexity but also exceptional drinkability – you will not be able to stop at one glass. Pale onion skin pink, it starts off with attractive, fruity aromas of watermelon and white strawberry with a nice touch of bay leaf which adds a more savoury edge. On the palate it steps up a gear or two – juicy, mouthwatering acidity is matched by textural richness and supple tannins which make it a very serious style of rosé, before a long and strong finish. Delicious and the ultimate picnic wine which could match a whole range of dishes, from cold meat cuts through to salads and quiche.

93 POINTS
It’s fabulously elegant and lively with raspberry, watermelon, nectarine and lemon zest aromas on the nose. The palate displays excellent focus and persistency, well supported by juicy fruit flavours and bright acidity, making it delightfully drinkable. At its best: now to 2023.
