Of The Earth Pinot Noir - 2019

92 POINTS
Sourced from a single plot in Macclesfield, this mid-weighted sassy pinot was extracted gently, drawing on the semi-carbonic influence of partial whole-bunch fermentation, with indigenous yeasts. This confers lifted aromas while imparting a light ruby hue, herbal complexity and softer structural attributes. Red and maraschino cherry, chinotto, rhubarb and some autumnal mulchy scents, all. The tannins, frisky and nicely pliant. The finish, easy going and of pointed length.
Ned Goodwin, Halliday Wine Companion 20/21. August 2021
