Newest releases - 2020 Jester Shiraz, 2020 Jester Grenache & 2022 Jester Vermentino

Mitolo is thrilled to announce the 2020 vintage release of both Jester Shiraz and Jester Grenache, along with 2022 Jester Vermentino. Popular each year, these releases promise to impress once again.

An exceptional vintage for McLaren Vale reds. The 2020 Jester Shiraz displays aromas of ripe strawberry, blackberry and plum, with hints of roasted almonds, vanilla bean and tobacco. The palate is medium bodied with fine powdery tannins. Red and black fruits are complimented by notes of black olive and dried herbs that bring savoury elements to a long and graceful finish.

We’ve continued to craft our Jester Grenache in a more lively, fruit forward style. The 2020 vintage is light bodied with tart cherry meeting riper mulberry, and subtle notes of sage, white pepper. Delicately laced tannins and crunchy, bright acidity give length and poise.

Our 2022 vintage of Jester Vermentino is driven by citrus notes with zesty lemon, sherbet and grapefruit. White nectarine and lemongrass build on floral spices found on the nose, while finely textured powdery acidity delivers a crisp and refreshing finish.
