Well- concentrated blackberry dark chocolate marzipan flavours fine chocolaty textures, superb mid-palate volume and attractive minerally fresh acidity. Finishes firm with bittersweet/liquorice notes. Very good density and torque with alcohol in balance and should last the distance.
Savitar Shiraz - 2019 94 POINTS Medium deep crimson. Black cherry, blackcurrant, dark chocolate mocha aromas with hint oyster shell notes. Inky deep with ample dark cherry, blackberry, fine supple tannins and underlying mocha oak complexity. Finishes chalky/muscular firm and minerally.
G.A.M. Shiraz - 2019 92 POINTS Medium deep crimson. Aniseed, black cherry aromas with roasted walnut/espresso notes. Sweet and savoury wine with ample black cherry, star anise/liquorice flavours, fine loose-knit tannins and well-balanced roasted walnut/mocha notes. Finishes chewy firm with earthy complexity.
