Jester Vermentino - 2022

90 Points
The 2022 Jester opens up with an impressive volume of fruit, delivering apple, citrus and a touch of hay, all with a tropical accent. Bone dry and chalky textured, well-defined citrus flavours are lifted by a salty tang before a zesty, slippery finish.
Angus Hughson, Vinous, February 2023

89 Points
The 2022 Jester Vermentino epitomises the classic Mediterranean summer white. Crunchy, fresh layers with pears and apples are shaped by a briny lick of acidity through the mid-palate and finish. Uncomplicated, juicy and good.
Erin Larkin, Wine Advocate, February 2023

87 Points
An easy-drinking homage to the Mediterranean, a place where a skein of salinity and gentle chew subsumes obvious acidity, in the name of freshness. A place where scents are subtle, flecked with thyme, rosemary and preserved lemon. Aside from the fermentative scents of spa salts and a lack of girth, this has all of the above. A bit more texture and weight would be appreciated. Drink now. Screw cap.
