It soars on the pulverised granite grip of tannins and lingers with its epic array of woody spice. Big vibe, big energy, big wine, and great harmony in all that. Classic stuff.

Deep, rich, saturated red with a good tint of purple; the bouquet is toasty, earthy, nutty and gently oaky, the palate full bodied and firm, upright and balanced, with deep blackberry fruit and quite stylish in a more muscular way. Solid, bold, and slightly old-school—but good.
