Savitar Shiraz - 2020

92 Points
Fine aromas of mace, clove, anise, mint and biltong. Northern Rhone of feel, until the drying oak tannins at the finish. A carapace of spicy grape tannins compresses blue fruits into a foil of savouriness. A compact latticework that bodes well for mid-term aging. A rich, albeit, savoury wine of restraint and impressive length. The oak, the let down. Drink or hold.
